RegisterComputer Classes
The Vestavia Hills Library offers free computer classes on Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Apple devices, computer basics, coding, AI, cybersecurity, graphic design, photo editing, Windows 11, GIMP (free Photoshop), Zoom, streaming, Google Drive, iCloud, OneDrive, Facebook, LinkedIn, and more! Check out our class schedule above and register today! Classes are 1 hour and 30 minutes and are free and open to all ages 18+. To browse all library events, click here.
Computer Access
We are proud to offer more than 50 public computers for use by our patrons. We offer both PCs and iMacs throughout the library, all with internet access. The computers in the Children’s Department have various educational games, while those in the Teen and Adult Departments offer access to the Microsoft Office Suite. The Technology Classroom has 10 iMac computers used for a wide variety of training. Multiple computers in the Technology Classroom offer access to the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite. The Technology Classroom is open for public use from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. weekdays, except when classes are being taught and when proctoring is in session.

Enjoy free Wi-Fi access from your personal laptop or mobile device throughout the library, including our Rooftop Garden and Outdoor Amphitheatre areas.
