Welcome to the Children’s Department at the Vestavia Hills Library in the Forest! We serve children ages birth to six grade. This is a large age range with varied needs and interests, so as you can imagine, we have something going on all the time! We have storytimes for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers, as well as evening family programs and Saturday events. Our after-school kids are kept busy with our STEAM programs on Tuesday and Wednesday and we are always planning something special, so be sure and check out the calendar frequently! It’s not just about books anymore, so check out our Launchpads, Vox books, e-books, audios, DVDs and take-home theme kits. Kids of all ages will find something they like at the Vestavia Hills Library in the Forest!
