Interlibrary loan (ILL) acquires books, photocopies of non-circulating materials (such as magazine articles), and government publications not already owned by the public libraries of Jefferson County.
ILL request forms may be submitted in person at any public library in Jefferson County or online. To submit an ILL request online, go to FirstSearch and search for your desired title. After locating your selection, click on the ILL icon and fill out the online form to process your ILL request.More Info on Inter-Library Loan
The Friends of the Vestavia Hills Library Used Book Store offers a large selection of fiction, non-fiction (cooking, travel, religion, etc.), children’s books, CDs and DVDs, paperbacks, magazines and more. Come in and browse. All proceeds of sales benefit the library. The bookstore is open Monday – Saturday 10am – 4pm and Sundays from 1pm – 4pm.
