“Imagine…A Library in the Forest”

Imagine...a library in the forest.

History:

The Vestavia Hills Library Foundation was founded in 1997 to develop public and private financial support for the Vestavia Hills Public Library. In 2006, the Mayor and City Council authorized a four million dollar challenge grant for a much needed new library. A campaign is currently underway to raise the balance for an $11 million dollar LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified library.
