Jan. 7, 11:30-1:00pm, Liberty Park Book Club = Please join us as we discuss Curtis Sittenfeld’s American Wife. Sittenfeld boldly imagines the inner life of a first lady. American Wife is an intimate and daring story…an up-close portrait of the interior life of a very complicated woman.

Jan. 8, 10:30-12:30pm, Alzheimer’s Awareness Month Film = Please join us for Away From Her, a film of great courage, humor, defiance, and grace depicting the slow descent of a woman with Alzheimer's. Married for almost 50 years, neither Grant (Gordon Pinsent) nor Fiona's (Julie Christie) can deny any longer that she is being consumed by Alzheimer's disease. The couple is forced to redefine the limits of their love and loyalty - and face the complex, inevitable transition from lovers to strangers.
